AI art is better than bad art. You don't get an excuse for sucking, unless your goal was to train, in which case, failing is a part of the process.

As an extensive AI user, no. Art is in the process, not the product. If you forfeit the process you forfeit art. It's fine, you don't have to make art to make something good.
