@USArmy prescribed me weed for PTSD and pain. It saved my life. February 11, 2015 I was in so much pain I couldn’t stand up straight, and I wanted to die. I was on opiates, benzos, and a pile of other “medicines.” None of them were helping. I was a zombie — numb to the world emotionally, and physically in so much pain that death felt preferable to continuing. I despise suicide. That made it worse, because I wanted a way out and hated myself for wanting it. That day I sat in a chair in my doctor’s office. He’d offered Marinol before. I told him I didn’t want to be high, I wanted to be fixed. I was stupid. Drug War propaganda had told me Marinol — THC — was a drug to get high, not to heal. I was desperate. In tears. Begging for relief. He explained they’d have to take every other medication I was on away, and I’d be monitored so Marinol was the only thing I was taking. He also said he preferred it for pain management because if you decide to take the whole bottle you’re going to have a great night’s sleep and wake up in the morning. Fair. I took my first 5mg pill of Marinol at 8:30 that night. I was asleep by 9. I woke up in my recliner the next morning a different man. I played 12 holes of golf that morning for the first time in years. I only stopped because the pain started coming back. 12 hours and 5mg of THC saved my life. That was not an uncommon experience in the study. 99% of the WTU pain and PTSD patients got off every other med they were on and only took Marinol. Families said they got their husbands back. Quality of life went up across the board. That’s how I discovered natural medicines and psychedelics, and how healing they are. Nature heals. I’ll expand on the psychedelics soon. I need to get this written down and organized. I will say this: every time I’ve tried to walk away from this work I get pulled back in, because I can’t say no to helping others. I will not let someone like @TuckerCarlson or @ShawnRyan762 burn down the work that has already saved lives with irresponsible devil-and-hell talk. Keep that PMA. 🇺🇸
