Here is the clip of 2007/8 post-elecion violence courtesy of Al Jazeera.
We need to re-run videos from 2007/2008 post election violence. We have forgotten what violence can do to a country. What is going on in this country if not stopped will burn it to the ground

In Dholuo, we love saying “Ngima ema duong.” It means that the gift of life is greater than anything else. It implies that as long as there’s life, we can do anything. That as long as you’re alive, there’s room to try again. And again. Thinking about it always makes me smile.

In 2022 during Presidential Debate, this is what Deputy President Wiliam Ruto as he then was said on government contracts signed with other institutions. I wonder if his opinion still stand now that kenyans are demanding the same on Dangote Refinery Agreement.

Listening to #NewsGang on Citizen TV it shows that UDA is not sure that Kenyans will vote for them, so they are importing voters from all countries that neighbor Kenya, but the question would be that, Suppose all Kenyan voters refuse to vote for UDA, will those imported voters provide the numbers to win the election? Question is now that Murima has refused completely, will those imported votes fill the void?

14 HELD AS DCI BUST SUSPECTED COUNTERFEIT CURRENCY OPERATION IN NAIROBI DCI detectives based at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) have arrested 14 suspects, among them three serving police officers and several foreign nationals, following a raid on a warehouse in the Vision Plaza Industrial Area, Nairobi, where suspected counterfeit US currency, fake gold bars and materials believed to be used in the production of counterfeit currency were recovered. The operation, mounted on October 1, 2026, followed a complaint by a US national, Alkhalifi Ibrahim Hassan, and recorded at the JKIA Police Station. The suspects, comprising Kenyan and foreign nationals from Nigeria, Cameroon and Sudan, as well as three police officers attached to the Security of Government Buildings (SGB), Uhuru Camp, were arrested after DCI officers searched the warehouse located behind Vision Plaza. Two officers were armed with Beretta pistols whereas their other accomplice was armed with a Chalbi pistol. The suspects are, Anthony Oyieka Namani- Nigerian, Soulemanou- Cameroonian, Abbas Ibrahim Mohamed- Sudanese, George Kinyanjui, Geofrey Omondi Juma, William Kimolo, Solomon Ndeda, Raphael Wayaya, Kevin Barasa, Erick Honla, Maureen Ogany, Cpl Joseph Otenyo Okimba, APC Douglas O. Odira and APC Felix Oyawa Odhiambo A total of 31 sealed black pallets were recovered. Further scrutiny established that three of the pallets contained 156 bundles of US$100 notes suspected to be counterfeit, while the remaining pallets contained cement. Detectives also recovered a plastic box containing 65 pieces of gold bars suspected to be fake; a box containing assorted chemicals suspected to be intended for the manufacture of counterfeit currency; and another box containing assorted papers printed with US dollar notes. Other exhibits recovered included a black bag containing 13 bundles of US$100 notes suspected to be counterfeit, assorted aluminium seals, seven cartons of UN blue plastic seals, two Kenya Revenue Authority reflector jackets, two empty suitcases, a green pallet-strapping roll, a padlock cutter and a hacksaw. The scene was processed and the exhibits secured as investigations continue to establish the circumstances surrounding the suspected counterfeit currency operation and the identities and respective roles of those involved. The suspects are currently assisting detectives with ongoing investigations, with appropriate legal action to follow upon completion of the inquiry. #FichuaKwaDCI. This is exactly what happened with Turkana Wind Power, GoK likes cushioning investors then Kenyans pick the tab and pay taxes through the nose. The agreement for Turkana Wind Power in the Kibaki regime, was that if it is complete and Kenya still can't absorb all the energy produced, they will still pay for the energy generated irrespective, the same with the Independent Power Producers(IPP) again under Kibaki, that power they generate whether used or not Kenya has to pay for it. Now there seems to be the same case with the Dangote thing, that they are planning for 700,000 barrels of oil per day, if they are able to produce only 50,000 barrels a day, Kenya will have to pay for the difference. This is literally selling the country kwa bei ya jioni .... youtu.be/42SUT5LJTEU?is=95nY…

People are confusing what Gachagua said and what Duale has started implementing. Do you remember the deals GoK signed with the US, they are simply aligning the health system to the deals, so the confusion with what Duale said is supposed to keep Kenyans busy as the whole thing is transitioned to the US demands.
The transition from the SHA provider portal to the HMIS system has progressed well. All 6,427 counties public Level 2–4 Health facilities have successfully transitioned to the new system. An additional one-month extension has been granted to all public Level 5 and 6 Health facilities, faith-based organisation (FBO) facilities, and private facilities. During this period, the Digital Health Agency (DHA) will undertake Rapid Results Initiatives (RRI) with these facilities to support and complete the transition. Importantly, all patients will continue to access services at facilities that have not yet fully transitioned. The ongoing transition will therefore not disrupt access to healthcare services.

Billow Kerrow should know that people invest in areas they are are acquainted with, remember Dangote invested in refineries after years of Nigeria exporting oil to Venezuela for refining then it is reimported by Nigeria, making it expensive. As the saying goes, "Necessity is the mother of invention" so Nigeria 🇳🇬 had the oil but no refinery does Kenya have the same? Besides, the reason that Ken Sarowiwa was executed by Sani Abacha regime is the same reason that the residents of Lamu will soon be going through now, their fishing grounds will be no more at the expense of the refinery. I hope that Billow Kerrow also knows or remembers that Kenya had an Oil Refinery at Changamwe built during Kenyatta1 regime and which was decommissioned during Mwai Kibaki's era by former MD John Mruttu who became the first Governor of Taita Taveta County.
The Kenyattas are richer than Dangote. But it's hard to find them in any real industrial investment in Kenya, let alone Africa. Check Panama Papers.

Paid a courtesy call on Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo's office. Harris County in Houston Texas is the third-largest in the US and serves about 6 million residents, handling everything from public health and infrastructure to emergency response and tax administration. What stood out was the capacity of a well-funded office to deliver on its mandate without partisan considerations. Kenya's counties face underfunding, delayed exchequer disbursements and mismanagement of funds. My administration will put people over politics in service delivery: timely release of funds to counties, public revenues applied strictly to their intended purpose, and those who steal public resources prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Thank you to the entire team for the warm reception and insights. #UkatibaCaravan

Gather around. Story time. This past week/weekend, the prominent Zimbabwean scammer Wicknell Chivayo was in Statehouse Nairobi meeting Ruto. The last time he was in Kenya was about 3 months ago during a closed door meeting where he was handed a document in an official govt of Kenya emblazoned folder. You see the reason why these two incidents are very important is because after the 2023 Zimbabwean election, it emerged that there had been massive fraudulent corruption perpetrated by the government through a South African Family owned Company called Ren-form that supplies all sorts of electoral material specifically focusing of biometric kits and ballot papers. This company after receiving funds from the government then goes ahead to wire Wicknell funds to his company Intratrek as he is the 'Local agent.' In one of the incidents, a server that goes for about R 90,000 was billed at R23,000,000. BVR kits they had quoted at $5,000 tripled pricing in the final invoice to ZEC (Zimbabwean Electoral Commission) and we're sold for $16,000 a piece. Interestingly enough, on both occasions that he has been in Kenya, he has also passed by the Tanzanian Statehouse to meet the other embattled president Samia Suluhu. This so called system maintenance is not coincidental that it happened on the same weekend when the biggest electoral fraud perpetrator was in the country. This is a story I've followed for over a year now. From their official introduction by Mnangagwa at Statehouse Zimbabwe to Dubai for that Climate maneno. Will keep updating as we go. As I say, I believe in coincidences, but only to a certain point

Community note
There's technically no IEBC to undertake any lawful changes to the Voter Register. The High Court barred the swearing in or assuming office of the persons named by Ruto. Ruto ignored the order and appointed & swore them into office. share.google/Gyn5bbWMx553Zv…

Re: De La Rue Hiyo maneno ya sale of De la rue, one of the things they do apart from printing currency is printing government security documents Eg ballot papers. Wicknell has a company called Ren-form that also does that. Connected or coincidence?
