Remember Moriya Or Swissa 24 years old, from Givat Ze’ev. A talented hairdresser and deeply creative person, she loved painting, making jewelry, cooking, traveling, nature, music and festivals. Her family remembered her as free-spirited, generous and full of joy, someone who loved people, animals and life itself. After traveling in India at 18, she added the name “Or,” meaning “light,” to her name. Her mother described her as a young woman of great light, with a huge smile, sparkling eyes and a deep faith in God. On October 7, 2023, Moriya attended the Nova music festival near Re’im. She was murdered during the attack and was identified more than a week later. She left behind her parents and three brothers. May her memory be a blessing.
