✨ Let’s Do a Small Exercise Together! 🧘‍♂️ Take just 2 minutes for yourself. ❤️ 🌿 Close your eyes and focus on your breathing. 🌿 No matter what thoughts come to your mind, don’t fight them. Just gently bring your attention back to your breath. 🌿 You don’t have to think about anything else. Just breathe and be present in the moment. After 2 minutes, slowly open your eyes, rub your palms together, and gently place them over your closed eyes. 🙌 That’s it! Take a moment to notice how you feel. ✨ Believe me, this simple practice has helped me a lot, and that’s why I’m sharing it with you all. ❤️ Sometimes, all we need is just 2 minutes of peace with ourselves. 🌸 Give it a try and see how you feel. Common Election Symbol for Registered Unrecognised Political Parties (RUPPs) - A Registered Unrecognised Political Party (RUPP) is a party registered with the Election Commission of India (ECI) under Section 29A of the Representation of the People Act, 1951, but it is not recognised as a National or State party. - Recognised parties get a reserved symbol. RUPPs do not get a reserved symbol. They can apply for a common free symbol for all their candidates in an election if they fulfil certain conditions. - Conditions for allotment of common symbol (as per the exam question): - The party must be registered with ECI under Section 29A of the RP Act, 1951. (Correct) - The party must have conducted its organisational elections as per the approved tenure. (Correct – parties must keep their organisation details updated) - The party must have submitted audited annual accounts and contribution reports for the last three financial years. (Correct – made compulsory by ECI from 2024) - The party must have won at least one seat in the previous General Election. (Incorrect – this condition is related to recognition as a State/National party, not for common symbol) - Correct answer of the question: B) I, II and III only - Additional important points (ECI rules under Para 10B of Symbols Order, 1968): - The party must contest a minimum number of seats (generally 5% of Assembly seats in a State, subject to a minimum of 3 seats, or at least 2 Lok Sabha seats in a State). - It must apply in the prescribed form with a declaration confirming financial compliance. - Common symbol facility is generally available only for a limited number of elections (usually two). - From 2024, RUPPs must submit contribution reports, audited accounts (last 3 years) and election expenditure statements to get the common symbol.
