Gopher drone was sent down into the core drilling holes in an attempt to reach the mapped voids. Gopher needs some modifications in order to look around, as his wheels had trouble moving on the very loose sediment on the ground.

Blimey. Noah's Ark was built of wood so tough it broke an industrial drill bit.
It must DEFINITELY be a very holy vessel.
Core drilling at the Noah’s Ark Site came to a screeching halt when the core drill bit shattered on a layer beneath the surface that was harder than limestone. No bedrock has been detected and now the researchers and scientists are testing the layer for petrified or mineralized wood.

New publication on the human burials excavated at #Göbeklitepe.
The burials presented in this study provide important insights into the many human bone fragments found in the fill of the Special Buildings. The evidence suggests that these fragments derive from displaced burials originally located higher up on the mound.
Another piece in the puzzle of how the site developed and was transformed over time.

President Putin’s United Russia Party gains a record 355 seats in the Duma ( Russian Parliament) . According to Ukraine’s President Zelensky it’s impossible to hold elections during a war.
Unpopular Macron , Merz and Burnham must be grinding their teeth at the result.
We all need a peace deal as President Putin is currently going nowhere except Kiev if the war in Ukraine continues.

Poor Michael @mtopper66 is still desperately out of date. They've known about domestic structures at Gobekli Tepe for several years now. And yes, they were built and lived in by hunter gatherers
2/2 ...until that news, mainstream Dibble-type archaeologists had INSISTED were not lived in and called you a stone kook if you thought they were any more than hunter-gatherers. This is just the beginning of the new excavation, and already mind-blowing discoveries are being made.
