During WW 2, the Germans were fighting on multiple fronts and outnumbered by the Allies. This forced them to modify their armored vehicles to fulfil various roles; one of these was a training tank for aspiring crews.

I think this is one of the final nails in the social media coffin of Bovington’s Tank Museum. It started with the good curators and speakers retiring/leaving and its just gone downhill until now. all they post is slop now its all top trumps tank v tank or uninteresting breakdowns

One of the very few images showcasing the C1 Ariete with both WAR and PSO kits mounted together. This config was tested sometime in 2019. This is not regularly seen as during peacetime there is no need to add extra weight unto the tank. The C2 Ariete also tested this config.
