インドは、2026年5月26日にニューデリーで開催された第11回クアッド外相会合で発表された「QUAD-at-Sea Ship Observer Mission（クアッド洋上船舶オブザーバー・ミッション）」の開始を歓迎します。
インド沿岸警備隊（@IndiaCoastGuard）の巡視船「シャウナク（Shaunak）」は、クアッド4か国の要員を乗せ、チェンナイを出港しました。
本ミッションを通じて、海洋分野における協力と相互運用性をさらに強化し、「自由で開かれたインド太平洋」の実現に向けたクアッド4か国の共通のコミットメントを示します。

India welcomes the commencement of the QUAD-at-Sea Ship Observer Mission, announced at the 11th Quad Foreign Ministers’ Meeting in New Delhi on 26 May 2026.
@IndiaCoastGuard Ship Shaunak has sailed from Chennai with sea riders from all four Quad countries.
The mission strengthens maritime cooperation and interoperability, reflecting the Quad’s shared commitment to a free and open Indo-Pacific.

✅ India fully respects and supports the priorities articulated in the Pacific Island Forum’s 2050 Strategy for the Blue Pacific Continent.
✅ India’s development projects in Pacific Island countries reflect our shared focus on strengthening livelihoods, building capacity & promoting sustainable development.
✅ Significant progress has been achieved with regard to the Action Plan announced by PM @narendramodi spanning healthcare, renewables, connectivity, technology and capacity building.
✅ Recognised that El Niño poses serious challenges for Pacific Island Countries, and that India stands ready in helping ameliorate the adverse effects from the phenomenon.
✅ Highlighted efforts to cooperate in Space, sustainable coastal & ocean research.
✅ Encouraged all members to join the International Solar Alliance and the Coalition for Disaster Resilient Infrastructure under which several projects on climate change, renewable energy and sustainable development are already underway.

『より健やかな明日のためのアーユルヴェーダ ‐ 一つの健康、一つの未来』
在日インド大使館は、心身の健康とウェルビーイングを総合的に支えるアーユルヴェーダの役割に焦点を当て、第11回アーユルヴェーダ・デーを開催しました。
マリック大使は挨拶の中で、インドに古くから伝わる伝統医療であるアーユルヴェーダが今日、世界へと広がっていることを紹介。また、アーユルヴェーダ・デーは、バランスと予防、心身を総合的に捉える健康へのアプローチを大切にし、より健やかな暮らしと社会の実現を目指す機会であると述べました。
この機会に特別メッセージをお寄せいただいた城内実日本成長戦略担当大臣、また式典にご出席いただいた青木愛参議院議員に心より感謝申し上げます。
イベントには、全インド・アーユルヴェーダ研究所（@AIIA_NDelhi）や日本アーユルヴェーダ学会をはじめ、日印両国の専門家が参加しました。AIIAのS・ラジャゴパラ教授（博士）からは、アーユルヴェーダがもたらす効果についてオンラインでご講演いただきました。

“Ayurveda for a Healthier Tomorrow – One Health, One Future.”
Embassy celebrates the 11th Ayurveda Day highlighting Ayurveda’s role in advancing holistic health and well-being.
Ambassador Mallick in her remarks highlights how India’s ancient healthcare tradition is reaching the world today and how Ayurveda Day celebrate an approach to health that values balance, prevention and holistic well-being for healthier lives and communities.
We thank HE Mr Minoru Kiuchi, Minister for the Japan Growth Strategy for the special message on the occasion and Senator Ai Aoki for joining the celebrations.
The event saw participation from experts from India and Japan including the All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA)and the Ayurveda Society of Japan. Prof. (Dr.) Rajagopala S from AIIA made a virtual presentation for our guests explaining the benefits of Ayurveda.
