the apostle Paul hatred will never not be interesting, it's almost like everyone hates him more than Christ Himself, and he is but the one person who took Christ's teachings, beliefs, and life and provided us all with what that looked like on a practical level. the muslims hate him, the feminists hate him, the evangelicals hate him in some respect and every single wrong ideology out there when he and the rest of the apostles are the cornerstone (right after Jesus of course) of christianity and the reason by which we can know who Jesus was. you take him or any of them out of the picture and you don't know who Christ is or what He came to do in the world.
also, he did meet Jesus, a tiny bit of research and bible reading will make that very clear. turning his letters into political-driven writings in order to subdue or somehow oppress anyone at all is not only false, but quite ironic given how he went against everything he stood for and even the government of his day in order to proclaim Christ's gospel only to end up persecuted and martyred for his faith.
