very meaningful past two years in a great team at @PrincetonCITP, devoted to public interest tech๐ปx public defenseโ๏ธ!! We increased awareness of (overloaded) public defenders' real needs for AI assistance and built an internal retrieval tool for NJ Office of Public Defenders.
How can AI support public defense? We have worked on this question for the last two years, and have (1) built an AI retrieval tool for the NJ Office of the Public Defender and (2) conducted qualitative interviews with defenders. Our main insights ๐(1/12)
