Minister @HMcEntee has attended a high-level event on ‘Ensuring Accountability for Ukraine’. The event highlighted the forcible transfer of Ukrainian children by Russia, and the importance of holding Russia accountable for its actions in its war of aggression against Ukraine.

Delighted to catch up with Dr Michael Kennedy of the Royal Irish Academy at the @SwitzerlandOSCE Chairpersonship Conference on the founding process and core purpose of the OSCE.   Dr Kennedy discussed how international fora like the OSCE are crucial in amplifying 🇮🇪’s priorities.

Held under the @Ireland2026eu, the informal meeting of EU Foreign Ministers (Gymnich) brought together counterparts from Ukraine, Canada, Iceland, Norway, the United Kingdom and Switzerland to discuss security challenges in Ukraine. Ministers also discussed the situation in the Middle East, including freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz, support for the Gaza Peace Plan and the Two-State solution, and efforts to strengthen the Lebanese state.
