really good explanation of mushroom-2:native
this is categorically wrong and i am seeing a lot of similar misunderstandings so i will try my hand at clearing the air
AI/NVDA having deep liquidity has nothing to do with the success of SHROOM, these launchpads like LONG and PONS only continue to create even more liquidity fragmentation which is exactly where SHROOM thrives, i.e. SHROOM will grow more routes to monetize and compound on as more launches happen on LONG, etc.
it's like saying that one really big parking garage makes roads irrelevant
the base case for SHROOM is that it continues to grow as the market maker across tokenized equities, compounding fees (1) back into LP depth and (2) into SHROOM buybacks, targeting volatility (monetizing arb opportunities) + cross-asset flows (including inserting themselves into fomo paths which they are actively prioritizing)... you are longing tokenized equities flows vs. just TVL growth in one specific pair (AI/NVDA)
the real bull cases comes into play when you consider things like the longtail of stock tokens outside of the top ~10 that are underserviced (20% slippage on a $1,000 trade) which SHROOM will continue to expand and compound into, with the moonshot kicker being true adoption of direct cross-equity flows
anyways this continues to be one of the more interesting defi experiments of this cycle and i'm keen to see how tokenized equities further evolve through this meta
