Got @typesafeai Jev driving our @makermodsai Metal arm in MuJoCo.
Images are of the sim camera is not passed in, sim hands Jev the state of the environment in JSON and it picks the next bounded action (hover, descend, grasp, lift, place) as a typed choice with a confidence score.
Jev makes the decisions for example "Put the red apple in the blue bin", and it runs in 9 decisions at ~150 ms each, and it refuses tasks it can't map to the scene instead of guessing.
I wonder what this means for datacollecting in sim in realtime? And I wonder if combining with GPT6 astra would it be able to then control an actual robot arm

We decided to try it out for ourselves on the Maker Arm. Only giving one trajectory to GPT-6 Astra, it is able to do real2sim end to end with only a side camera and wrist camera. MuJoCo + Astra + Blender

GPT-6 does real2sim end to end from robot demonstrations.
I gave it only multi-view RGB and robot actions, and one simple prompt.
It calibrated the cameras, built the object assets, performed physics system-ID, ran MuJoCo, and rendered in Blender.

Squirrel prompt:
the squirrel prop reference photos is in ./squirrel_reference. I intentionally placed a cube next to each angle reference shot of the squirrel, the cube itself is 24mm wide. The squirrel has around 1-2mm of soft fur on the outside and the inside is fully solid, I want to replicate it in sim. The squirrel itself is 61.9 grams

The squirrel prop is being generated in blender in a different session (called Set up Blender for MuJoCo) so ignore the squirrel for now, but for the rest, construct simready assets (free to use blender), ensure the robot replay is physically feasible to complete the task, and the replay renders at different views aligned with the multi-view recording, it needs to be consistent for accurate simulation. The booth dimension is 1.00 m width, 0.60 m depth, and 0.60 m height

used a VLA for the first time (ACT, also tried smolVLA) at Himalayas Hack to get an arm to clip onto a rope (imagine a bot climbing the Himalays and getting disconnected form the rope), great times with @glowcone and using the @makermodsai arm! was very dope, ty for the early product experience @IsaacSin12 @Ryan_Resolution
