The #Isles and HC Pete DeBoer aren't done with Isaiah George just yet.
"You can't rush those things, particularly with defensemen," DeBoer said. "There's zero disappointment. It's an opportunity for more growth. Hopefully, the next time he comes up, he's a little bit better, and eventually he's a regular."

The Islanders were the softest team in the league last year and on track for it again this year. I don’t mind this.
He also not an everyday player so it just ain’t that deep. He’ll rotate in when there are injuries I bet and be in the press box

Unless you’re evaluating the prospects, it usually ends up being deceiving to me.
Also… that 13 guy might help in a few weeks. Him being out long-term is my only worry

I said yesterday that if the team played like that tonight it's time to get concerned. It's time to get concerned. I understand we've a lot of guys out right now for precautions, including Schaefer, but there's a lot of reason to be worried about this lineup.

I get it, nobody likes the roster. I’m not in love with it either.
For whatever reason everyone loves to pile on this team when expectations are low.
However it’s just stupid when you have a top 5 defensemen and top 3 goalie in the NHL. They won’t be THAT bad

Sorry, I'd like to think I'm as passionate about this team as anyone, but its a Friday night preseason game with an AHL lineup hosting the Rangers starters.
Go grab a beer, take a walk... go outside. Not just Isles Life, the amount of complaining about Engvall tonight is comical
Engvall is one of the worst NHL players I've ever watched. He won't make the team. As unimpressive as Duclair is, he's somehow still better then Engvall. It's a sad battle for the final roster spot.
