Last night whilst putting my 1 year old to bed, just before he drifted off he looked up at me and said… ‘Father, oh father, why is everyone losing their shit over Oasis tickets?’ I said… ‘Well Godfrey , the prices are rather high, with some costing hundreds of pounds.’ Then I went on to tell him about my first Oasis ticket. I told hold him how I bought one in 1988 and it only cost me £1.95 and I got a free Curly Wurly with it. He sighed and hugged me. We both shed a few tears before he closed his eyes and drifted off to sleep, dreaming of better days. #Oasis

Mother in law has just been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s this morning. I feel so sorry for my father in law. He’s probably the nicest person I’ve EVER met and this is going to be so hard for him.
