Football is football, if a pundit is intelligent, insightful, entertaining and clearly the best person for the job then nothing else matters. I would argue that race and gender are irrelevant.

Take the England team for example...
Jude Bellingham has Kenyan ancestry, Saka & Eze Nigerian, Palmer St Kitts and Nevis, Trent Alexander-Arnold American and Jamaican, Guehi Ivory Coast etc etc... the list goes on and on.
The England football team is as strong as it is, precisely because of immigration and freedom of movement.
The game in this country is as strong as it is... because our clubs are filled with players from all over the world, managers from all sorts of backgrounds, with all sorts of ideas.
Immigration has played a massive role in building our footballing culture. In many ways it's the cornerstone of it.
