Getting AI to fix issues on your PC is one of the most underappreciated and OP use cases.
I used to spend a whole day manually trying fixes and sifting through old forum posts to find an answer.
Now I just let Codex lose for 30 minutes, grab a coffee, and come back to a nice summary of how it fixed it.
Crazy times.

GPT-6 (before GTA-6)
Holy: Leo is one of the best leakers. He says that OpenAI's Astra (GPT-6) will supposedly be released as early as next week.
Astra, aka GPT-6, is the new foundation model with completely new pretraining. Internally codenamed "Mewfour," it's already been tested.
Rumors have long suggested that GPT-6 would be released relatively soon after version 5.6, at the end of July or beginning of August. The main goal is to have a model that consistently outperforms Anthropic's Fable 5.
I can't get any more excited!

GPT-Live was a major surprise.
By far the best voice model I've used.
The demo made it look like it would interrupt you every 5 seconds, but after trying it, it's actually very natural and intelligent.
A huge step up from the previous models.
A few artifacts and cliches carry over from the old, and it's guardrailed to the max, but overall more pros than cons.
OpenAI is shaping up to have a huge week.

GPT-Live is now fully rolled out to all ChatGPT users on Go, Plus, and Pro plans. Free user rollout is in progress.
Update to the latest version of the ChatGPT app on iOS or Android to try it out.

Honestly, Grok might be the best AI search out there.
I was a huge Perplexity fan, but cost cutting has severely degraded their search quality. Basically unusable at this point.
Google AI search is solid for most things, but uses outdated info and dumb SEO-gamed recommendations at times.
Grok has none of these issues. Up-to-date info, wide variety of sources, balanced perspective, and fast af.

Reminder GPT-2 was also considered "too dangerous to release"
The US government, citing national security authorities, has issued an export control directive to suspend all access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5 by any foreign national, whether inside or outside the United States, including foreign national Anthropic employees.
The net effect of this order is that we must abruptly disable Fable 5 and Mythos 5 for all our customers to ensure compliance.
Access to all other Claude models is not affected.

Fable 5 just scraped all 1 million+ businesses in my state, enriched them with owner contact info, and laid them out in a dashboard for me.
Apollo and Clay charge $500+/mo for the same thing and take months to show you new businesses. Claude gets them the day they are created.
Fable lives up to the hype.
