During Friday nightโs Milton vs. Battle Ground game, this player was immediately ejected following this celebration.
According to sources, officials characterized the gesture as โshooting his opponents with gunsโ and called it โunsafe and inexcusable.โ
NFHS specifically addresses threatening gestures, including simulated gun-type gestures, as unsportsmanlike conduct.
That carries a 15-yard penalty for the first offense, and you get tossed after the second one.
So the question is simple:
What made THIS an immediate ejection for the @TSSAA?
The decision cost this senior the remainder of Friday nightโs game and will now cost him the next game as well.

Crazy. Iโve been around hs sports for 10+ year and even I know once you leave the sideline during play itโs an auto ejection. Regardless of โself defenseโ. Does this open up the door for what rules can be applied & what canโt. Itโs a slippery slope.
