Every time I see another post about those children being held captive, I feel sick, I think about their parents, I think about the fear, the uncertainty, and the helplessness they must be living with every single day. As a parent, I take my child to school and expect them to come back home safely. That should be the most normal thing in the world but the thought that children can be taken into the bush and kept away from their families for this long is something I struggle to process. What kind of country are we becoming when children are no longer safe? How did we get to a point where stories like this stay in the news cycle for days, weeks, and sometimes months? Beyond politics, beyond tribe, beyond religion, these are human beings. These are children and their lives matter. My question is simple: what is being done to bring these children home safely? No parent should have to live through this nightmare. May God comfort the families affected, protect every child, and help restore sanity, safety, and justice in our nation.

This man was a mathematics teacher in Nigeria. Not a fighter. Not a criminal. Not a threat to anyone. He was kidnapped alongside over 100 innocent people and fellow teachers by terrorists. May God comfort the children who witnessed this horror.

During the Kwara massacre, a man was escaping with his little boy and was shot dead. While falling down, he seemingly fell on the poor little innocent boy who couldn't lift his father's body off of him. After lifting the body, the locals realised that the boy had fractured his leg from supposedly his late father's weight. He was alive with a swollen leg and with some difficulty in breathing but died before they got help. From a survivor. 178 buried so far! 💔 💔 💔
IT WAS A HORROR IN KWARA 💔.

The killing in Kwara State lasted for 17+ hours.💔💔😭😭 the terrorist went on a short break, went to eat and pray then came back to resume spraying people to death. 17 hours that’s double shift with a break in corporate world. And you all are quiet ???💔 The media is silent ?😭 The government is mute 💔

Husband's arrested for domestic violence, wife refuses to press charges, she files for divorce and shared custody, people at home shame her and calls her selfish children are doing well, husband struggles to adapt, she's free and happy now but she's still guilty once in a while.

Many broken marriages already had cracks that were being patched in Nigeria. The egalitarian nature of European societies only expose them. A lot of Nigerian marriages aren't built on genuine love, MUTUAL respect, and partnerships. If your understanding of being a husband is financial provision only, in a society where your wife can earn as much as you or even more, you become worthless. If your understanding of being a wife is only to do house chores and take care of the children, your husband will seek everything else outside. Abroad, your money + your spouse's money = household income. Bills cannot be paid by one person. Otherwise, they will burn out. And if you want a partner that will split bills with you, you have to pull your weight in home management: cooking, cleaning, etc. Both you and your wife cannot go out in the cold all day, and you come back home expecting them to go and cook for you every day. They will start to resent you after a while. Child care is not the prerogative of one person. Both partners have to sit down to plan how children will be cared for: school drop-off and pickup, hospital appointments, extra-curricular activities, etc. It's all too overwhelming for one person to handle. And the big elephant in the room is abuse. Whether physical, emotional, financial, or even psychological, abuse is completely frowned at in this society. If you abuse your partner and they file an official report, best believe the marriage is over. There are no in-laws that will advise them to keep enduring. There are no religious leaders to blackmail them into staying in the marriage. There is no fear of social stigma. Until everyone understands this and stops being selfish, divorce rates will continue to increase.
So Pastor and Pastor Mrs have officially gone their separate way in the UK. 💔 Three years abroad vs eleven years of marriage and three kids. 😟 What is it about the UK that makes marriages crumble quicker than the Naira under this administration?
