Melia's work ethic and ability to navigate difficult and sometimes complicated talent relationships is top-notch. Seeing her grow over the wonderful 2.5 years we worked together was a core joy of my time at Liquid, and I know wherever she lands is better off because she's there.
Sadly, my last day at Team Liquid is approaching after being impacted by the recent layoffs.
I've grown so much over the last 3.5 years and have loved watching my talent shine. My favorite part, though, will always be the work I poured into RWF and the wins we celebrated together. Grateful for the ride and everyone who was part of it.
I'm not sure what's next, but I bring almost 8 years of esports experience across talent management, partnerships, marketing, events, apparel, contracting, operations, and content shoots. If it touches the industry, chances are I've done it.

Watching Obsession left me with a visceral, full-body fight-or-flight for two hours after the movie finished. And that was in the comfort of a living room. If I'd seen it in a theater, I might not have recovered for three (3) business days.

Saw Odyssey today in IMAX 70mm. By no means am I a cinephile or really anyone whose opinion on movies matters, but I don't think I remember feeling more floored by a film. What a phenomenal accomplishment by the actors, the director, the editors, the sound designers... Wow.

I've been a bit quiet about the results of my post-surgery scan, and it's partially because I wanted to take time to process some unfortunate news.

Functionally, this means going back through infusion chemotherapy for the rest of my life. I've already begun this anew, and I'm monitoring how intensely it affects me. More than anything, I want to get back to something resembling normalcy, including work and home life.

The @DistrictEDC website updated to indicate that it is closed, marking the loss of a great Washington DC Smash/FGC/Rivals venue. Doing two of @LiquidHbox's Coinbox IRL there was truly enjoyable, and the staff was always helpful. Sad I'll not get to play any SF6 there again.

Okay, I'm more lucid now. Recovery is slow, as expected, but the surgery was allegedly textbook. We'll need to wait to do a few scans before this can be confirmed, but my surgeons indicated the resection was precise and clean. Now it's a few days in the hospital for monitoring.
It's finally time. By 10am, I'll be on the surgeon's table and the tumor in my colon will be removed during a very long procedure. This isn't the last step in terms of surviving all this (there's still months of that left), but this is a huge day. See you all in a few hours. ❤️
