Asked Baylor Scheierman how he sees this Celtics team playing from a stylistic standpoint. His first response? "We're just gonna hoop."

Mitchell Robinson on if he feels healthy: "Definitely. I feel very confident in myself. Been working on my body this whole summer. Figuring things out. And I'm very confident in myself right now."

Mitchell Robinson says that Joe Mazzulla went down to Nashville this summer to see him.

Paul George: "JT is the guy. I'm here to support him in all facets. I've always prided myself on not being able to do just one thing. King of wearing whatever hat that I needed to."

Paul George: "I feel like my body is back healthy. I feel like I'm capable of doing those things again."

Paul George on playing for the Celtics: "To have this opportunity is amazing... Since I've been here, it's one of those things where, man, I wish I was here a lot sooner. Not to discredit anywhere I've been, but since I've been here, it's just been nothing but happiness."

Jayson Tatum: "I feel great. Having this offseason to get stronger, get more explosive, just work on my body in totality. Obviously, feel much better than I did this time last year. And I'm excited and thankful for that."

Joe Mazzulla on building an identity and what he's learned about its challenges: "I think the part that doesn't get talked about enough is what the opponent in the league is doing... You want to obviously do your best to stay ahead of the trends... Where's the game headed? What are you trying to accomplish? How can you stay ahead of that? At the same time, you are relatively a product of what the defense and offense allow you to do at that particular moment. So you want to have your identities, but at the same time, you have to be flexible towards what your opponent is giving you, what they're allowing to happen, and where the league is headed."

Joe Mazzulla on Mitchell Robinson: "Yeah, I'm upset we're not going to be able to foul him anymore, but that's just how it goes."

Asked Brad about the balance of making moves for financial vs. on-court reasons, and he not-so-subtly hinted that the Celtics believe some of their guys can take a leap this year with more opportunity.

Brad Stevens: "It's not just who you bring in; it's also what guys can step into new roles and what guys can do to take the next step in their ability to impact [winning]. And oftentimes that happens because you're younger and you get better, [but] sometimes it happens because there's movement within the roster that allows for more opportunity."
