It is finally starting to cool off here at home, and yet, I go looking for Rascal and soon after receive a communique that he is in the heat of "The Jungle". What does this mean? How would I know? It could be anything with this animal. All I could make out was, "Hey, I hate to cut it short but their closing in and while the drones are not as effective in this heavy canopy these barefoot bums can sure be a nasty fight on the ground. Sal is ready and the fuses are set, gotta go light'em up boss! Hey! *Radio Crackle* take the FN, it's ready to go and hot to trot!" Before I can get out the second half of "WTH?" I hear rifle reports and he hangs up. Well, all I can figure is he has gotten himself neck deep in jungle trouble with his buddy Sal. Rascal has been in worse scrapes before. He'll make it back, for sure. As always we thank @SummRidge for their continued support on missions as these! Time is tight and the shots are close so get in the comments for more! Good Luck Godspeed Keep Going!

Very appropriate to be October 1st as I walked through 5 spiderwebs like Indiana Jones and got dive bombed by my normally docile bat friends that live near the creek.

So here is the issue across college sports, as I see it. It used to be the right thing to do to go get a high ranked HS QB. That's not the game today. It's just not. Nico is playing at UCLA now after getting millions from Tennessee. Faizon will get experience here while collecting millions to learn on the job and then most likely end up elsewhere as well. No QBs are staying at their first school for 3 or 4 years now. I'm not at all hating on Faizon. He did all he could do with the skillset he has at the moment, so don't take this as a complaint against him. This is a complaint about Tennessee not adapting to the new reality of competing in the SEC today. In the world we live in today, HS QBs should be almost ignored. It's the one position on the field where they simply cannot be prepared enough to come in and play meaningful snaps in big games. Don't even recruit them. It's a waste of millions of dollars. WHY? Because it is fools gold. You get to pay for all their mistakes. You get to pay for the bad performance. THEN, when they are battle proven and ready, they come to you and say they need triple the money to stay and you ket them walk and start all over again. You never get the butter from the churning of the milk. Someone else does. Go get a good QB with a couple years of eligibility left and run him for two years, then rinse and repeat. Stop wasting millions on guys who have to "learn on the job" no matter what their ceiling is. And I know people will say this is why you sit them behind experience for a year, but that's just not true either. Nico sat behind Milton and collected $2M to ride the pine. Then he came on in year 2 and got another $2M for a mediocre 2nd year. Then bounced. That's $4M paid for 2500 passing yards and 19 TDs in production during his time at Tennessee. That same $4M would have paid for the cream of the crop of QBs. The veey best. Just my opinion, but the game has changed at the QB level. We should not be spending our time teaching a freshman to read defenses while paying him millions.... when the same millions can buy you a seasoned QB ready to rock. Faizon should be the last HS 5 star we take at Tennessee. The sunken costs rarely get recovered by later production. Schools who continue to pay millions for HS QBs to ride the bench, or worse, to actually rely on them to play games where they make freshmen mistakes all day are going to be behind schools who understand the landscape and just rip the bandaid off and buy the talent they need. It's that simple.
