Given the lack of technical ability in our defence, Lewis Hall should be starting left back. One of the best at carrying the ball 10-15 yards to start attacks and very press resistant.

Points wise, it’s been a good start to the season. Performances (mainly shot deficit in each game) are a concern, but we were always going to need time under Jaissle. Fixtures after IB offer huge chance to get into a good league position and that’s powerful in a tight PL. #nufc

Joe Willock getting his scoring touch back is great, but even more impressive is his work rate this season. Used to get criticised for his off the ball work, but he was excellent today. 92% pass accuracy not bad either. #nufc

Not sure you can claim underlying data as that relevant after a three game period, and I love xG. Game vs Liverpool was even, but game state/late pen impacted the stats massively. Spurs game was even and we took chances. Bournemouth/Leeds were really bad first halves. #nufc

Bournemouth and Leeds are two of the most settled teams in the PL. Two tough games and we were massively off them both in first halves. Bournemouth spirit was good. If we are still bottom of the underlying metrics after 10-15 games, that’s the time to worry about them. #nufc

Don’t think the formation is the issue - it’s how we set up with the ball - pushing our full backs up and dropping a midfielder in between the centre backs. When we can’t progress the ball, the middle of the pitch is completely open. Not a sustainable approach in the PL #nufc
Our midfield options still point towards 4-3-3 for me. I don't think we have the players to make 4-2-3-1 work.

Jaissle’s set up probably worked well with previous teams when he had a talent advantage. It’s suicide with our squad. We don’t have the players to progress the ball, so turnovers are inevitable and we leave the middle completely open. #nufc
