I spent nearly half of my 20s in a hospital bed. My lung function is below 40% and gets lower each day. And I have the most wonderful life I could ever imagine because of the relationships and love in my life. I AM SO HAPPY AND BLESSED.

I just want to say thank you one more time, you guys made my day on here. I decided to share a couple bakery updates because that’s my whole life now, so it’s all I have to share and you guys were so supportive and it really meant a lot. I do feel sad sometimes I don’t have room for streaming and making videos and I can’t wait to get to a point where I can add that back to my life, but I really didn’t expect the response I got from you guys this weekend after having been gone for so long. So thank you and know if you ever doubt yourselves, your kindness affected my life and brought my spirits up. I hope to be able to do that for you guys again when you need me.

To anyone that has remained loyally following me and supporting me from my past console helping streams and tweets: One year ago Brittani and I were in Ocean City on a small vacation we had waited a year for—having just submitted an offer for a small cake shop we weren’t even sure we would be considered for. Now we have made that shop into our own bakery and cafe @SunflowerBakeNH, and it’s been really, really hard. I wish I could say it’s easier now but it honestly feels like we discover a new challenge constantly. Our anxiety is high, there’s a lot of things that try to break us, and there’s a lot of things we are scared of, but we have so much to be thankful for. Between my battles with my health and cystic fibrosis and Brittani putting in 10-16 hour days 6 days a week, sometimes it feels like we’re stuck. But through all of it, even though I have been basically off the platform for years, your support and kindness remind me that while we are baking scratch made pastries what I really have always wanted to spread was sunshine. They say when sunflowers don’t get enough sun they face each other to become their sun. I feel like you are my sun and I hope I can continue to be yours too. Thank you to everyone that has ever supported us, we are so grateful. We know it’ll get easier eventually and this is exactly what we signed up for. If nothing has broken us yet it means we are only getting stronger!
