Anyone else curious about how all of our older phones can connect to satellites? You don’t need a new phone to access starlink in the middle of the ocean for example?
That means satellites have been able to connect to our cellular devices for a very long time.

This is insanely fucked up, but the question is did @Google do the same thing with Android?
RCS texts are encrypted, but does the UK government have the same access to Android phones? If not, it’s a great motivation to switch platforms.

Apple iMessage is still fully end to end encrypted, just like Google’s RCS. However, Apple is now removing the option for most iCloud services to be fully end to end encrypted for storage, an option Google never offered.
