I might be proved wrong, but I assume the chaos of this England-France game will be very different to the ‘sideways-pass’ versus ‘opponent-kicking’ match we’ll get tomorrow. Not everyone will agree, but I think that will be the final that this tournament deserves.

Just my personal experience (others may vary) - We had to travel home to Arsenal today - during the parade - with a toddler. TfL have struggled, and had a bit of a nightmare tbh, but the Arsenal fans we encountered were respectful and helpful and the atmosphere has been great.

Thought I’d watch the end of the Scottish football as I’d read it could be an exciting finish this season. But that bizarre handball decision has made me immediately uninterested. Balls don’t bounce off hands like that.

This is obviously not all that important in the grand scheme, but it’s an interesting thing about visiting a new place that you almost always find some preconceptions are wrong. I was also very surprised to see Winnie the Pooh everywhere in China when I’d read it was suppressed.
