Despite @United's non-Starlink Wifi being worse than the dialup I had 30 years ago, on my way to Oslo for JavaZone I was able to fibe code (yeah, it's like vibe but it works cause I have expressive types, FP code, and good tests) a new sbt plugin that gives me a dependency syntax I've long wanted. In projects with transitives in the same version group as explicit deps, I can just reference the version resolved through the transitive. This helps keep dependabot churn much lower.

Yeah, United’s WiFi is so slow I can’t do anything with it, I can’t imagine it working for _any_ AI centric development, unless you have a local model.

The inference parts weren’t actually that bad. Really not a lot of data being transferred for the cloud inference. It was all the other http that was slow and painful. Oh and it went down a lot. Can’t wait until it is Starlink on every flight!

Let me guess - you could have gotten 300Mbps but for $300 for one leg of the flight.
