This is electroplating a very detailed PCL #3dprint I got from Simon Luposchainsky at the @JapanRepRapFes in May. It’s made with a #MEWron printer. Incredible fine lines! PCL seems to react in my bath a lot, so it was tricky tricky tricky. 😅

【拡散希望】皆さんに質問です。 最近の日本も少しAM（Additive Manufacturing）業界や3Dプリンター界隈に少し新しい風が吹き始めました。 APPLETREEは靴を売り始めファームを作り自らメーカーになろうと動き始めています。ダイヘンは新しいDEDメーカーとして名乗りを上げ、プロメシアンは国際認証を取得し補修分野で動き始めています。 POLYUSEは公共事業でのインフラ向けの建設用3Dプリンティングで活躍しまくり、Instalimbは世界的に義足を供給しています。V3Dは海外でも3Dプリンター住宅を作り始めましたね。 単に名前が有名とか大きい会社とかではなく、停滞した日本のAM業界に変化をもたらしてくれそうな企業を教えてください。コメント欄で！ いつもありがとうございます。

One of the beautiful things about the maker community is that the best ideas don't belong to one person. They spread, evolve, and inspire thousands of others. MakerChips are a perfect example! The idea began with @K2_Kevin , who shared poker chip templates and provided an inviting way to for people to explore 3D Modeling while they personalized chips to represent themselves, their projects, and their businesses. Other community members contributed tutorials, accessories, and even the @MakerChipApp online catalog to document all the designs. This year, we had the privilege of watching our friends at the @JapanRepRapFes embrace MakerChips for the second year in a row in a downright spectacular fashion. The creativity, craftsmanship, and sheer volume of designs were amazing! We can't wait to see what MakerChips the 3DPrintopia Community comes up with in September. You don't have to design to partake in the fun. Polymaker is providing prizes for collectors on both Saturday and Sunday.
