Um yes, where does prosperity came from? This is the first time in almost a generation I have heard a politician ask this question, much less answer it.
It’s time to make wealth creation New Zealand’s absolute priority.

And Australia's is even higher
France 10 year bond yield = 4.79% Greece 10 year bond yield = 4.43% Nobody who lived through the PIGS debt crisis in the early 2010s would have predicted Greece to be a better credit than France in 2026.

Labor says living standards rise if productivity grows four times faster. It won't. Labor cannot fix the problem, because their friends are the problem. They won't take on the donors who like it broken: over-taxation, the IR club, an education system that spends more and delivers less. “Free” TAFE is not free. Someone pays. A housing crisis because of record low supply and record high immigration. Fuel over $2.20 is not a global shrug. Families need rules that let work be worth more. youtu.be/ustYFgo4x6o

The great question in western politics is not left versus right, it is whether you believe the problems of your society are caused by redistribution errors or lack of productivity, supply and abundance. That is do you want to grow the pie or just keep arguing about how it is divided up. On that basis, One Nation and Labor, Greens and Teals have a lot in common.
Labor ministers have repeatedly insisted the growth of Pauline Hanson's support is due to the collapse of the Liberals. That's only partly the truth. My analysis in The Nightly: latika.me/AlboPHON

Tucker's revisionism is that World War II's costs (human & monetary) helped end the British Empire... however the initial worst damage was inflicted by the US imposing "Cash & Carry" on us from 1939-1941. There was no peace with the Nazis & so we stood alone. Our finest hour.
Tucker saying he wishes Hitler had won World War II was absolutely on my 2026 bingo card

Call it socialism or call it a Budget. Same result. Who knows what #EricBana said. @AlboMP ‘s policies are economic vandalism dressed up as fairness. It hits founders, ordinary investors and all Australian and it tells every Australian don’t invest, don’t build, don’t aspire. Revenue-neutral reform that grandfathered existing assets would raise the money without burning the incentive. @AustralianLabor chose the vandalism.
Eric Bana has criticised Australian PM Anthony Albanese in an interview with a US network. Bana blames Albo for turning Australia into a socialist hellhole. #EricBana #Albo

I am shocked, shocked that when you encourage people to buy property with a 5% deposit at the peak of the market, they're the most likely to end up in negative equity. End this stupid scheme now. afr.com/policy/economy/homeb…

And let's be honest, this is because the Labor and Teal Government reregulated product markets thereby reducing the economy's capacity while massively ramping demand through government spending, much of which has now been discredited because of fraud, waste and abuse
