"The biggest thing I've been impressed with Howard, has been his transformation as a goal scorer to hounding the puck. He has a high motor game and his detail to play the right way has been good. Mike (Babcock) told me after our first practice that Howard was different than he expected. He's worked very hard and he's been aggressive. Some times that can lead to fewer scoring chances, but the most important thing is to get your skates on the ice and when the coach trusts you he will give you more ice and then you can make more plays. I'm not that worried about how much he scores, but I've been really impressed by how competitive he has been," Bowman on Isaac Howard. @Sports1440
