Arc Mainnet Explained
Arc goes public tomorrow with Uniswap v4, Aave, Aerodrome and Sushi already deployed
The main chain difference: fees are paid in
$USDC, instead of native token
Fee design matters more for farmers than for insties: there is no gas token for txs so high frequency positioning gets cheaper
The other side is that there is no gas demand narrative either. On every previous chain launch the easiest play was its native token
Where the actual edge is:
1. Thin order books
New chains open with shallow pools, and same pairs already have deep price discovery. Potential gap with Arc pricing might be the play
2. Fresh money markets
Aave and Morpho markets on a new chain launch with distorted rates. Lending USDC into a market with no depth pays more than lending into it later
3. Native token details:
Circle sold 740M
$ARC at $0.30, raising $222M at a $3B fully diluted valuation. 60% of the 10B supply is allocated to ecosystem
That 6B tokens is the only real incentive on the table, with no airdrop, no points program, no distribution date yet announced
Main question now is whether Arc will actually reignite the trenches
Validators are permissioned, and nobody has confirmed whether contract deployment is too
Watch the first 24h. If deployment is gated, every launchpad marketing itself into your feed right now is selling access which in fact it does not have
FYI one of the latest launches:
> Plasma opened with roughly $2B liquidity on day one
> Peaked above $5.5B within the first week
> Sat near $1.54B by March 2026
The first week paid but the second month did not
How do you personally feel about it bros? ARCszn tomorrow?
