Rand Paul was a big boost to Trump when the rest of Congress - especially Republicans - would rather see him in the dock. He stuck his neck out for Trump, asking nothing in return.
He stood by President Trump through the insane impeachment garbage and even with the J6 garbage.
He NEVER turned on Trump even though it would have been politically expedient to do so. Paul could have made big points - and probably raised big money - by piling on Trump when Trump was under attack.
He refused to do so.
And this is how Trump repays such loyal friendship.
I have never seen anything like it in all my years in politics.
