With some time to digest … I think what made yesterday so jarring from the Saints is we’ve really never seen them lose a game that way during the Kellen Moore era.
They’ve played a ton of close games. They’ve played from behind a lot. They’ve lost big. But in the instances when they’ve built a lead, those games have been closed out. The type of collapse we saw yesterday, and at home to boot, really did seem to come out nowhere.

I think when the team assesses, sketchy refereeing will be outweighed by the fact that the Saints didn’t seem to handle that adversity well at all.
Whether they actually lost composure or not after the fumble situation, TOs on the final four possessions makes it look that way.

Goes without saying ... that's the theme of today's stock up, stock down. Saints have to learn the lessons, because this loss makes the next three games (particularly MNF vs the Falcons) massively important.
