It has been two years since Hurricane Helene changed WNC forever. The devastation was unbelievable, but so was the resilience of our community. Neighbors helped neighbors, volunteers stepped up, and people across WNC came together to rebuild. From being on the ground helping families in need, to fighting in Raleigh for Helene relief, to securing the resources our communities need to recover — I’m proud to have played a role in that effort. Our work is not done, and I will continue the fight in Washington.

As a small businesswoman, I know firsthand the hard work and determination it takes to build something and keep it going. I will always stand with our small businesses and fight for legislation that supports their success.

We are proud to endorse @JenBalkcom in #NC11 to fight for life in Congress. Jennifer Balkcom is a mom, small business owner, and state representative with deep Western North Carolina roots. An eighth-generation North Carolinian, she has been a consistent voice for life in the legislature. When Gov. Roy Cooper vetoed protections against late-term abortions, stood up to the governor to override it. Her Democrat opponent, Jamie Ager, is backed by groups like Planned Parenthood. He is pushing for the Massachusetts-style agenda of abortion on demand up to birth, even of babies who can feel pain, paid for by taxpayers. The contrast is clear. North Carolina, vote for LIFE.
