Yikes.
I mentioned at lunch that the Democrats might hang another point on the Republicans by the end of the day, and I wasn't really sure if I believed that, but damn if they didn't do it.
And the real fun doesn't even start until tomorrow.
If the Republicans lose this turnout battle, that Republican chair is gonna get real hot.

The Republicans held strong through lunch today, but the Democrats really turned it on as we got closer to closing time. That will be the trend through the weekend as well. I am almost confident enough to make the prediction that Democrats will win the turnout battle, for what I believe is the first time since I started following these.

The Jacksonville Democrats have had a strong morning. As I expected, they are going to take the day, barring an absolute miracle for the Republicans. I would expect them to run up another three or four tenths, and possibly a whole point by the time the polls close tonight.
