But honestly, at this stage, we need to start thinking bigger with these features. No disrespect to anybody, but featuring artists who don’t have a strong fanbase outside Africa may not do much for his global streams.
One day Davido will retire, and I don’t want the only thing we can say is that his songs were always sung word for word by both elders and kids. We need more global moments for him.
Give us a Drake or . Rihanna. Or Beyoncé. Or Kendrick. 😭🔥 Whoever can bring a whole new audience to his music.
Davido has spent years carrying almost every feature he’s been on. We need artists who can carry him too and add something different to his numbers and global reach.
