People are using AI every day, but how is it affecting their sense of capability—as individuals & in their communities? A sneak preview of new research we did with @Gemic & @Google: people associate their AI use with strong feelings of greater agency and capability.
So far, however, that boost still seems to stop at the individual. Few participants felt more empowered to shape the systems, neighborhoods, or institutions around them as a result of using AI tools.
