Raymond Horsch and business partner John Butterworth shared a film studio called Renaissance. In April 1971 The Philadelphia Daily News visited them photographing a nude 16-year-old girl painted as a snake, modelling $6000 in gold jewelry.
The young girl named Erika Lindenberg was said to be an “11th grade dropout from Lincoln High School” who had done work for Vogue Fashions.
John Butterworth co-directed Horsch’s debut 1973 film “The Erotic Memoirs of a Male Chauvinist Pig” and went on to make his own erotic movies like 1975’s “The Naughty Victorians: An Erotic Tale of a Maiden's Revenge”.
The pair went on to open “Butterworth’s Hickory Pit” BBQ restaurant in 1991

The screening of the film was widely protested in Philadelphia by religious leaders, it was allegedly aired just once, at the rearranged location of Germantown Bandbox Theatre, 29th Feb 1975
