We’re getting behind #TeamJill and supporting Jill Scott’s Coming Home Challenge for #SportRelief26 @comicrelief. From 8th June, @jillscottjs8 will tackle an epic 388-mile journey home, running and cycling from London’s Wembley Stadium to The Stadium of Light in Sunderland.
Along the way Jill will be joined by a host of famous faces and visit a range of iconic stadiums across England ahead of the 2026 World Cup.
This includes day four of her journey (Thursday 11th June), where Jill will cycle 111 miles from Manchester to our very own Bishop Auckland Football Club. We are delighted to welcome the former Lioness and support Jill on her incredible journey.
Jill’s challenge is all about helping more people find a place they can call home. Every mile raises money for Sport Relief–funded projects which use sport to help provide safety, support and security for people when they need it most.
We’re proud to support Jill. You can show your support by following her journey, or giving what you can: comicrelief.com/teamscott

Not sure why I used a “midwife” analogy 😆 felt right! Loved doing this with @NickyByrne x
What a brilliant conversation.
Lioness champion Jill Scott tells me of her upbringing in Sunderland to the challenges of growing the women’s game globally.
@JillScottJS8 is an icon to so many - quick, funny, and not afraid to tell it how it is.
