I'm still trying to regain my senses after hearing the news this morning about @MariaBartiromo leaving Fox. It has been my incredible honor and privilege to get to know Maria over the years, starting back at CNBC. It is safe to say, she built Fox Business into what it is today. And she did it by being the person she always was...the hardest working journalist (not just woman!) on Wall Street who was committed to getting the answers --not just abiding glib talking-points. I know her next move is going to be even more remarkable. And I, for one, can't wait to see what she does. Her work ethic, dogged-determination, and love for family and friends make her a class act in a world where people like her are few and far between. Don't leave us hanging too long, Maria!!!

Maria Bartiromo was fired from Fox on Thursday because she informed the White House about Fox’s secret instructions not to promote President Donald Trump’s election conspiracies on air, according to Status. Fox News had issued written instructions to senior employees to steer coverage of Trump’s address away from his claim that China interfered with the 2020 election. Fox claims discussing the network’s confidential information violated her employment agreement. Buckle up! This is about to get interesting and won’t work out well for Fox. Maria is very beloved.
