Winter Park police responded to a call from a soccer league official about a disturbance involving league staff and the parents of a 3-year-old player during a game against older children.
The league asked the family to leave and offered a refund; officers facilitated communication, confirmed the family was cooperative and leaving, and treated the matter as civil with no arrests or forced removal.
Body-camera footage supported this account.
The family has claimed the call stemmed from their son dominating play by keeping the ball too long.
