Correct. Trump is trying to devalue the dollar and re-shore industry, so that people will invest in US manufacturing and not just US debt. Who cares if you have an empire, if no one can make anything and all your citizens are from the third world.

Ok but there’s an issue. The “elite” own the ai. So they’re making money. Unless they make everything free how are people going to pay for anything once robots/ai take jobs? We know theyre not going to make everything free, theyre a parasite on humanity.

Exactly my point. We need to start manufacturing again and stop thinking that GDP is the same as GDP pre capita. I don’t want “everything free”. Society would collapse at that point.

So you close the borders, kick out all the thirdworlder mercenaries bring back manufacturing on a low worker base and have a culturally homogeneous society with a high gdp. Fixed!
