Honoring the memory of Alireza Sadiyan on his 23rd birthday at his graveside.
Born on October 15, 2003, Alireza told his loved ones on the night of January 8: 'If I don't make it back, don't let me be forgotten.' He joined Iran's January National Uprising in Farrokhshahr, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province, where he was shot dead with live ammunition by Islamic Republic thugs right outside a Basij base.
He was his family's only son and provider. Those who knew him best describe him as an athlete, a protector of child laborers, an animal lover, and a young man full of life who believed in a free and glorious Iran.
Alireza Sadiyan will never be forgotten. Light will prevail over darkness, and justice will be served.
