Just finished reading Gantz, after seeing someone say it was their favourite manga
The art is very competent.
The characters are paper thin. Too much fighting and not enough development
The writing is absolute dog shit, the plot either turns on a dime or gets completely abandoned

The main character's brother is part of a secret vampire organisation.
That goes completely nowhere, because the author put vampires in the middle of his alien manga, and decided he'd rather stick with aliens afterall.
How do you just drop that plot line?!

The bees look large compared to the people, and they're talking about a large bunny, which would be small compared to giants.
Also the castle looks regular sized compared to Nami, and has giant animals which should be small.
That whole place is a diorama made by giant kids.
