Six-year-old Lian Yunzhi from China broke the women’s world record for the average time to solve a 3x3x3 Rubik’s Cube twice in three days, first averaging 4.52 seconds and then lowering her record to 4.27 seconds. Lian has mastered more than 1,300 solving algorithms and practices for two to three hours a day. She is now the only female competitor to record an average solve time under 4.5 seconds
