🚨 𝗡𝗘𝗪: Honduras have called up 18-year-old defender Victor Vandenbrouck, who has gone viral among fans for his Belgian heritage. ⁠He plays as a right back for Gent 2, and he was called up for this international break by Honduras' manager, José Molina, for the first time. He flew more than 20 hours to play with Honduras but surprisingly did NOT play a single minute. After this, Victor decided to resign from playing for Honduras. He said Honduras is ‘not his place,' at least for now. His mother also went on a social media rant against the manager, asking why they would 'waste the player's time’ instead of letting him stay in Belgium. Belgium and the USA are also keeping track of the situation, as he is also eligible to play for their national teams.
