🚨 Hot take: Apple's new iPhone Duo will accelerate the use of AI coding tools/models like Claude, Cursor and OpenAI's new GPT-6 Astra. Not only that, I think it drives more Swift app development (bye bye Ionic, Flutter, even React Native). The new phone shifts and rearranges UI across 3 screens in 5 different viewing modes. Menus go from horizontal to vertical, shifting and adapting to each mode change. Developers used to only have to contend with landscape or portrait, and could get away with being portrait only (rotate your phone back now please). Now you get to add Closed (portrait, maybe landscape too?), Open Dual (landscape / portrait), Seated and Standing modes. All those variations create more work; we'll need AI to pick up the slack. Lucky for us, dark mode is still optional.

I want one thing from my vector design tool, and that is for it to be low key CAD software. All the precision of Rhino, packed into the ease of use of Figma. Why can’t I easily snap to tangents in 2026 in Illustrator, Figma or any other design tool?
