The Greatest. Thanks Vin for being my gateway to baseball. Thanks for teaching me about pirates, Shakespeare, and the history of beards. Beyond that thanks for being a kind human and inspiring me to always be curious. Wherever you are I hope there’s cotton candy sky’s.

Just posted a video @ South Padre Island, Texas instagram.com/p/CTYOfueFvWc/…
I had a blast directing in Texas for a Travel/Surfing show called "World of Waves." It airs Sat/Tues on Bally Sports. The next episode will be This coming Saturday. If watching on TV is too old-school, check it out on the website.

Never got old hearing Tommy Lasorda tell the Buster Maynard story. Lasorda was snubbed by Maynard, a major leaguer, while trying to get an autograph as a kid. In 1949, Lasorda faced Maynard in a minor league game. Hit him with a pitch. He was so proud to tell that story.

The best baserunner in the majors in 2020 was: Mookie Betts. He was 22 bases better than average. Among other things, he scored from second on a single 7 times in 8 opportunities, and grounded into a double play only twice in 39 DP situations. Bill James Handbook, 2021.
