I attended my close friend's funeral today. We became great friends in our teens before either of us joined the military. I followed his father into the Marine Corps. He followed his brother into the Navy. It doesn't matter which service he joined. He would have excelled in either. Rest, Max. You enriched our lives more than you know. The day will come when I will make the transition to rest also, and I hope that we will rejoice together again then.

While I often think of Cardano governance like a kind of republic with @IntersectMBO as the government body, I see some ways like the @UN in that Cardano is truly made up of individuals from many cultures spread around the World, coming together for common purpose.

Between @secondfiapp and @lace_io , I am beating my head against a wall. Both instituted changes that I did not approve, as I did not have an option to accept. I never installed SecondFi, yet my wallets are not accessible at the moment as I cannot go into Yoroi to access those assets. Not sure when I will actually be able to safely restore those wallets elsewhere. And with Lace, they instituted the "enter old spending passwords" and create one new spending password for all wallets under Lace, with no option to delay that step. And now for wallets I have done that for, it does not recognize the new unified spending password, which I know for a fact what it is. I will have to restore all those wallets to a different wallet interface, or to Daelalus itself. What a pain. Why can we not have a simple wallet interface in the browser that does not keep changing it procedures without notice and without permission???

Made it to my hotel in New Jersey, so I can be around for NYCNFT this week and get some much desired sightseeing in. Even now, the Manhatten skyline beckoned to me from the NJ Transit 180 bus I was riding to the hotel. In NYC this week, let me know.

Finishing up the family trip to see the Air & Space Museum at Dulles and visiting Young Washington's office in Winchester. Now on to NYCNFT by train, to see if I can find some side events to attend this week.

Reflecting on the trip to Rome last week. Exaggerated perspectives can be very slimming!. The Vatican, The giant statue of Constantine & the coliseum with my beautiful moon in the same picture, reminding me of the cardano metaverse still going, @Carda_station. And so much more!

As my stay in Roma comes to a close, I can highly recommend the Massimi City Garden Hotel. A bit north of the Vatican, and you have to use taxi, ride share, bus, metro, or limited space on hotel shuttle. They make up for that by being economical and a breakfast to die for. Grazie to my hosts! Of course, the most economical way is by bus and Metro. Taking those as to the immersion experience. I recommend the 7-Day ticket if you're going to be here for more than 4 days. 990 bus not that reliable, the 913 is. 913, though, you have to climb some stairs at the bus stop. I hated those stairs, but it was worth it to stay at this wonderful location. @BeatriceAnihiri , notice the pin on the gentleman.

Cooling off in the McCafe after all that grueling wishing work at trevi fountain here in Rome. Cost me 1.70 Euro for a milk with coffee, and earned myself a free toilet pass. A toilet would normally cost me 1 Euro by itself. I think a wise strategic purchase.
