You can stake two things on the Staking page: JUICE, and the LP token of the JUICE/PUMP pool. Both earn rewards in JUICE. Where the rewards come from. They are JUICE from a treasury the Juice team funds, transferred into the staking program beforehand. Each pool pays a set amount of JUICE per second out of that budget, shared by everyone staked in it in proportion to their stake. The program can never pay more than was funded. At the start each pool's budget lasts about 10 days at its current rate; the team may top it up or may not, and the page shows what is left and when it runs out. Staking rewards are not a share of creator fees or of Juice's revenue; the rewards share described under Rewards is a separate proposal. Opening. A pool can open for staking before its rewards start. The page then says when rewards start; nothing is paid before that moment, and from then on rewards add up by the second for everyone staked. A pool that hasn't opened yet takes no stakes. No lock. You can unstake any time, all or part. Rewards add up by the second for as long as you are staked and are yours to claim; unstaking claims them in the same transaction when claims are open. What the page shows. JUICE per day: what the pool pays in a day, and what that is today per 1,000 JUICE or per 1 LP staked. This is the figure to go by. It falls as more people stake. A percentage appears only when the pool holds at least 1,000,000 JUICE of value. It is the yearly reward rate divided by what is staked right now, so it changes as others stake and when the rate changes. Above 1,000% it reads ">1,000%". Nothing compounds by itself, and it is not a promise. Rewards budget left and the date it runs out at the current rate. Time when nobody is staked pays nothing and moves that date back. A rate change, when one is announced: the team can change a pool's rate, including to zero, with 24 hours' notice. Rewards already earned are not affected. Limits: how much a pool and one wallet can stake for now. The per-wallet limit caps how much one key puts at risk; it is not a fairness rule. Staking LP tokens: First add liquidity to the JUICE/PUMP pool; you receive its LP token. Stake that token. Staked LP keeps earning the pool's trading fees and keeps the pool's full price risk: its value comes from the pool, not from staking. The Staking page and your Portfolio show staked LP as the JUICE and PUMP it stands for. Paused: The team's guardian key can pause staking. A pause closes new stakes and claims for as long as it lasts; there is no time limit on it. What you staked stays withdrawable throughout: unstaking is never blocked. Rewards keep adding up for what is staked and can be claimed once the pause ends. Emergency unstake: Offered under Advanced on a pool only if a normal unstake fails when Juice checks it on Solana.
